Help Us Bring Back Dominion!
"Completely removing this game mode is probably the worst idea you've ever come up with.

to mention it's a HUGE waste to disable a functioning game mode which
contributed greatly to your unique selling point and helped distinguish
you from DOTA etc..
You could just distance yourself from it and make clear that you don't intend to visually upgrade or otherwise improve it.
But DELETE?
0,5% is still a HUGE number of people considering the immense size of the LoL community.
Dominion
was a very nice classical "capture-the-flag" mode to take a break from
the usual exhausting hassle on Summoner's Rift where you could quickly
test new champions, builds, masteries etc. and was especially attractive
for people who liked to try out something new beyond the current meta
(without exactly being immediately reported for trolling) and lone wolfs
who took pleasure in quick ambushes and/or assassinations."

The level of engagement here has officially moved this petition into the category of items that internal stakeholders must acknowledge. I am currently finalizing a formal proposal to be sent to the developers that outlines the technical feasibility of reinstating the mode. Expect a status update once the primary community lead responds to our outreach.

I played Dom every time I played league. If I opened the client first thing I would always do is a warm up Dom. And would play even more throughout the day with friends racking up 20+ games in single days.
Dominion is my favourite gamemode, I have been playing it since launch. SR is too stressfull for me and I find the other players in Dominion games far nicer and more friendly. That we are a smaller part is only a bonus in my opinion. I like to see the same people from time to time in my games, as used to happen much more often in the early days of LoL. I will not go into more depth, because having read the many replies on the League of Legends website, I know my opinion has been fully voiced and supported already.

Atleast even if it was really unpopular riot should atleast let us play it thrown custom games
i miss this so much. i hate that riot decided to eliminate it instead of promoting/improving it.
Everything else sucks.

It was just a lot of fun playing this fast gamemode, loved the atmosphere and I can't remember having toxic players ingame. Imo the best alternative for SR, now you only have two other gamemodes left, which aren't well supported anyways.
