Seeing two hundred and fifty signatures for these trails reminds me of the afternoons I spent hiking here with my grandfather. It truly means the world to see so many of you fighting to protect this memory for our neighborhood.

My family has walked these trails for decades and I refuse to let them be fenced off now. We are nearing two hundred fifty signatures which will force the council to acknowledge our movement. Used to walk with my dog there all the time. Such a shame if it goes away.
Ridiculous that they would even consider closing this. Been hiking there since the 90s, leave it alone.
my kids grew up walking those trails, dont take them away now. this city is losing all its good green space.
keep the trail open!! we use this every single weekend. so frustrating.
Please dont let them build over our favorite spots. We need these parks for the community.

STOP RUINING EVERYTHING GOOD ABOUT MONTEREY.
