It is such an injustice that first time buyers did not get the opportunity to buy the houses. We need more owner residents to look after the area.

Yes if it got planning for 6 social houses that what it should be. If any of the rest of us disregarded planning it would not be tolerated so it should be the same for everyone

Everybody has a right and a need to have a roof over their heads. No person should be homeless. It is nothing but greed that is keeping the current crisis going

FF & FG & Greens government please follow the same planning rules and laws yourselves that you expect the rest of us to follow such as in the case of Sarsfield Heights Cork, as you endorsed non first time buyers to a development that was specifically deemed by law for use by first time buyers.

When we bought our house in Eagle Valley it was always a consideration for the location and to be in a safe place . I will be very honest that I want it away from social housing . So this is just a big blow for us. I have rang the contractor before several times inquiring re the newly built houses if there are.for sale and the reply I always get was that they don't have details yet and they will get back to me. SO obviously they already have a plan re thos3 houses there.
