Our Nurses, Doctors Teachers, Guards etc. are leaving the Country because they cannot afford to buy or to rent while the Government continue to give Housing Bodies a blank cheque to buy up estates such as this, so that they can claim they are building more social housing than ever. The sooner an election is called the better...I cannot wait to meet them on the doorstep

Should be an option for people who can't get a bank loan, county housing loan or apply for a social home because it's more than €50 in annual income

Government again making mistakes of the past. Your estate is not a social housing estate. Best of luck

A worthy cause. Very frustrating for those of us working hard to pay huge mortgages.

New housing developments should be made available to the public to purchase. It would be fair to do so.

As a local resident this is a shameful decision and needs to be reversed . The original planning was for a mix of social, private & affordable housing and should be respected. and it also goes against stated government policy. Local planning should be respected and not undermined.

I am renting in Eagle Valley and desperate to own a home. It's been very frustrating driving passed this development every day for two years knowing I'll never even get the chance to buy one.

We worked hard to pay for our houses without the help of government, thus we deserve a nice neighborhood without social houses. By randomly placing social houses around only discourage people to make effort to be responsible to their houses.
