I work for New York life, and and advocate for transgender and LGBT rights! I believe everyone should have the right to work, participate and have coverage despite their sexuality or gender. I recently lost my job because my husband is Trans and I was his sole provider while in surgery.

Transgender individuals have a right to work and be respected and treated fairly and without discrimination. After all, we also pay our taxes and live up to our due diligence as citizens of this country!

Everyone should have the right to work in a safe environment, while transitioning or being transgender. Without the fear of loosing their job, ridicule and scrutiny or any other form of critical observation or examination.
