Flowers make the place look nicer and if helps people through grieve or to celebrate occasion of the death embrace it! How can the company council do this and think it's ok! I would be heartbroken if I had grave there for loved one!

Absolutely appalled. Me and my brothers and sister have done everything to make my mums grave look nice for it to be dug up by people who don't know my mum!

The plants and flowers look beautiful. Obviously these are graves been looked after, it's the ones that aren't the council should be sorting. My grandmother is in there and luckily they haven't touched it yet.

People should be able to plant flowers on loved ones graves, it's all they can do now to feel near to them and still buy presents on special occasions

It is an utter disgrace that flowers etc are banned and even worse that those present were pulled out! Whoever made that decision should hang their head in shame!

I am signing for the right to plant on my Grandads Grave, he wanted a Garden where we could go and sit when he passed. This had been robbed from us!!!

Remembering our loved ones is an important part of grieving and taking care of ourselves. How we do that is not down to the council - this removal of flowers is both inhuman and unnecessary! It's appalling that procedure and policy comes before compassion and care for its citizens and community.

Things like flowers should be allowed to be placed on graves. If poppies go on war memorials what about flowers on graves to respect people
