I have witnessed 2 accidents at this intersection in the past year and have heard of numerous others. There is absolutely no reason for a blinking red light there, the angle of the intersection and the blind spot for the fast lane driver, created by the slow lane driver, make it even more dangerous. Please please change the light to a solid red/green!!!!

After all the changes made to Rt.50 in the last 30 years to remove all of the crossover intersections why was intersection not addressed sooner?

I strongly agree with this petition - 100%. Laura is good friend of mine and I have been able help support her through this difficult time. I am also a Claims adjuster. I see and help customers through injuries and accidents. The will power and strength that an injured victim has to persevere through is challenging. It takes hope, patience, faith and will. Laura has been through a lot and now she wants to be sure no one will ever suffer as a result of this intersection. Victims seldom pursue this endeavor. This is true to her heart. Please consider this request! Light the way and make sure drivers on the main road have the right of way! Change this light to help save lives!

people do not pay attention to the light. They believe even though it I flashing, they have the right of way. I have been at at the light before and almost t-boned or reared ended from people trying to rush through it before it turns solid red. All that light has done is cause a bigger confusion than it already has. What is it gonna take for people to see how dangerous that light is? The president getting into an accident or even better Oprah

I live right up from the intercection and if I am traveling west will go out of the way up to the light at Dutchmans to avoid an accident.
