To the Holy See;
I would like to request a commission to reverse the ordinance to assimilate non-endogamous people into our knanaya catholic community. We are a special interest faith group who maintains its own members via endogamous marriages since AD 345 and in 1911, we were given special knanaya catholic diocese in Kottayam with indiviidual jurisdiction by Pope Pious X.The ones that go out of the faith group are strictly outsiders who did not follow the rules of endogamy and are no longer part of our knanaya community, but can freely join our syromalabar counterpart:The syromalabar catholic community. We are a faithful community and would like to maintain its generational endogamy through endogamous blood lines. PLEASE RE-CONSIDER AND REVERSE YOUR decision to incorporate non-endogamous folks into our community as we are afraid it will lead to the destruction of our faith community. Please allow us to extend our boundaries from Kottayam diocese in India to the North American borders so that we can preserve our community in this faith community. IT WAS MY BIRTHRIGHT TO BE A KNANITE AND MY PARENTS GAVE ME IT BY KEEPING ENDOGAMY IN THEIR MARRIAGE. IT WAS THE BIRTHRIGHT OF MY CHILDREN TO BE KNANITE AND BOTH MY WIFE AND ME HAVE GIVEN THEM THE SAME BEING ENDOGAMOUS.
We have been following our Knanaya Culture, Traditions and believes for more than 1700 years. How it can be revoked or revised We will keep and follow the same till the end!! Regards. Sajimon
We the people, of Gods world, need to insure that we keep our 1700 year old traditions to be safe and secure for our community. We ask Pope Francis to please make the correct decision and make sure our traditions stay with us.
Deep rooted , century old tradition cannot be taken away. People are getting more and more angry towards the church. This is in the blood of each knanaya and that cannot be explained. It is an experience. So give us our freedom to be an endogamous Parish under kottayam bishop.
If you believe pious 10 pope, you cannot deny Knanaya Endogomy. If sero malabar can go from South India to worldwide, then Rome should extend same knanaya rule like India to worlwide for knanaya people. Thanks.
endogamy causes physical and mental problms..which is more in the knas..yu are small group bcoz of yr nonsense ..dont grow ever..yu r a small grp and wish to spread out the worl..impossible !

Why don’t we ( Kna Jacobites & Kna Catholics) join together and form a “Knanaya Church” under a Knanaya Patriarch It is time for the Knanaya people to cut their umbilical cord with Rome and Antioch
