I live in New Westminster, where several families have left their apartment due to the vast number of bedbugs. These families had to leave all of their belongings, and leave their security because of bites all over their body, and these are children also. They get into the electronics, couches, chairs, beds, and in order to assure that they won't take the bedbugs with them, they are better off to be safe, and in order to do that, they have to leave everything behind. Thousands of dollars in furniture, and a life long time of merchandise they have to replace, and the money they have gotten from the government is nothing, compared to what it will cost them. Please help me, and all these families to resolve this issue once and for all. Make the government responsible for landlords renting out suites, knowing they have a bedbug issue. It is a high cost to remove them, and their eggs, up to one thousand dollars. One woman residing in New Westminster, went to the province and told her story. Her and her two children were been eaten alive, and nothing was being done, as she watched her little babies, scratching, and seeing bites all over their body. They did solve her problem, but the cost was over a thousand dollars. They close off the building, bring the temperature up to an extremely high, and kill off the bugs and the eggs, and up till now this is the only way of getting rid of them. Spraying does not kill the eggs. So please join this petition, and help to get bedbugs out of New Westminster, British Columbia once and for all.!!
