No way, open space in amongst housing MUST be retained and not sold off for development for business or retail. There are enough supermarkets within 1,5km to more than service this area. the roads surrounding are not suitable for in/out traffic from business .

Tea Tea Gully council
You only sent letters to residents and the business with in 400 meters of the reserve. Thats a very small portion of people that have the oppurtinity to reply to your letter informing the residents.
This is a green space for the kids .

To lose yet more open space to consumerism would be to the detriment of the community. As it is people aren't active enough these days... Let's not completely wipe out all options. Where will locals go to run with their dogs / kick a ball? Definitely not in a supermarket of which there are plenty already.!

We do not need another shopping centre in the area. Keeping Richardson Reserve is vital as we need areas like this for all of us to enjoy - especially our kids. Put people ahead of profits!

its vital we have reserves close to homes for the kids to play which isnt a drive away.we also need to keep places for our birds etc to live

Keeping parklands and green spaces is vitally important for the health and wellbeing of the local community. A giant international retailer building in the area is unwelcome and unneccessary. Please put people ahead of profits!

1. We do not need another supermarket in this area, especially taking green space to build it. If this new chain wants to add to the mix, do it at existing shopping areas. 2. Our small, independent stores are already struggling. They do not need another one on their back fence. 3. Traffic is already a problem at drop off & pick up times for the two primary schools. Adding the shopping centre will make it worse. 3. MOST IMPORTANT - we need the green space. Even if Modbury Soccer Club have got too big for this space, it is also used for organised fitness / dog training / families running & playing.
