Richard Boylan, an established and skilled Canadian filmmaker, has proven himself to the Warhammer 40000 community as the right choice to direct an official 40k film.
His animated series "Helsreach" earned much approval from the fanbase.

No brainer...this needs to be done nd this man has talent and he gets it...he is not going to water down the lore and imagine what he could do with a team and a budget behind him!
I am 100% percent for this idea. His adaptation of Helsreach was great, capturing the great moments of the novel without betraying the plot.
He is ubsurdly talented and his works would bring in a massive wave of fans to 40k like no other. Everyone I've shown his Helsreach series to had never even heard of 40k before and absolutely loved it!
This has to be done. His visualisation of Hel's Reach by Dembski Bowden is probably the best series of 40k cinematography ever done, only matched by shorts as inquisitor prologue and dawn of war. The combat needs improvement and the dialogue is all thanks to ADB but it's a great work
Just this once I'll pull my cancer card. He deserves it 100%. His videos have given me the distraction I've needed through chemo and the general malaise of cancer.
Helsreach is amazing.
