Lake Stevens is hardly a lake community any more . Congestion around the lake is epic and we lack space for the residents as it is. And, the tressle traffic which is at a crawl several time of day due it being the primary route for most in this east side of Interstate 5 would only increase to beyond capacity.

I am outside the zone, but our area cannot handle the extra traffic and I don't want the extra taxes this will add. 11803 2nd St SE, Lake Steven

High-density housing and commercial (stores!) will add a large amount of traffic on Machias Cutoff and South Lake Stevens Rd. These roads aren't built for more traffic; the three-way stop at S Lake Stevens and S Davies is already a circus! The increased traffic will very much negatively affect me no matter which way I leave my neighborhood "up the hill" at 3 N Rhodora Heights Rd.
