the Charlotte City Council should deny petition 2018-142 the developers do not care about traffic conditions on Providence rd or anyplace in Charlotte . they are out to pave every inch of space in a residential neighborhoods. We have a similar situation in Sardis rd where they approved 14 lot subdivision and they butchered the land. 5 oclock traffic on Sardis rd. is unbearable as traffic backups from Rama rd to weddington rd. City Councils are clueless regarding Road conditions and amount of traffic is being generated by changes in zoning in Residential areas .

We do not want more apartments brought into our neighborhood. Build uptown or closer to the city.

Preserve south charlotte green space before it's too late! Don't sell out to developers and turn Charlotte into another concrete jungle.

The construction of this high density residential structure will severely negatively impact quality of life for current residents by increasing through traffic and making it increasingly difficult and timely to exit the neighborhood.
Additionally, this deviation from existing zoning does not align with local public interest, tree canopy growth goals, clean water initiatives, and increasingly problematic storm water management. I would like to see an environmental impact report.
Do not want. Traffic heavy enough here now.
