It took me 1 hour and 30 minutes to get home from Target today because of traffic. My 5 and 7 year old were hungry, tired and had to used the bathroom and we were not moving. Please put yourself in my shoes for a minute and tell me, if this is fair. This traffic is not healthy for anyone. Please stop building more houses on a 2 street roads. Please, please!

This insanity needs to stop!! This area cannot handle anymore growth!! Please reconsider this. My 80 year old parents can't get out of their driveway now. If you add more traffic, it will be even a bigger nightmare!!

Please do not build anymore apartments or homes out here until you fix our roads and build a new high school. This is the definition of crazy. Olympic can't handle anymore students. I know. I was a student there, my son graduated from there and I worked there as a substitute. It takes me 15 minutes just to make a left out of my road in the mornings and an hour to get uptown. It's less than 15 miles. Stop the madness!!!!! We don't get to vote for mayor. It's wrong to subject us to this. We need roads and schools not more development.

I have already considered moving from this area due to the high traffic and constant building of a once quiet area. Please consider rezoning this property.

There is more than enough multi-unit housing already in Steele creek. If you must develop this site, make it single family homes instead.

PLEASE STOP!! Our roads and traffic are beyond comprehension. The area you plan to build in adds 15 - 20 minutes to a daily commute. Your increased tax revenue will be hurt by NC residents continuing to move to SC because of this ridiculousness. I challenge anyone approving this growth to come spend time on South Tryon/49 between 7 - 9 am or 4 - 7 pm and tell me how you can in good conscience to this to your residents.

City Council is very good at approving more development in our area, but does not appear to be willing to invest in the necessary infrastructure to accommodate the development. I strongly oppose high density develop in this area until the City and County are willing to prepare and fund a long term infrastructure plan that is well thought out and adds value to the area and not a patch work of poorly thought out "improvements".

High density in rural area will only continue to impact traffic. With a city that appears only to be concerned with tax revenue, there is often no push back on the developers to improve any infrastructure.

Too bad our current county representatives have sold out on the beauty of this place. Our future constituents will have no idea what their missing. I guess.. If you must develop we need homes for families vested in the community not more transient people and crime.

Please stop over building in the Southwest area. Our infrastructure including schools and roads can not handle the amount of new homes/families.

The developers need to be held accountable for this overcrowding. Our current infrastructure can't handle all the traffic. It's becoming too dangerous!

No developments without an infrastructure plan to handle traffic and schools with developers having to provide support, as in most states where growth is prevalent.

I am against this mixed us rezoning petition. The roads are overcrowded already and dumping a bunch more people on this intersection does not make sense
