Please do not put in another subdivision. The congestion is already bad enough on that 2 lane road and all the lights. Not to mention there is no shoulder on either side allowing anyone to pass if there is an accident. You just sit for hours.

Leave our small town community a small town. Part of the charm and desire to live in Knightdale is the small town feel and knowing your neighbors.

Against more all rental housing. Against the bigger traffic problems it will create in this area. Extremely against destruction of woods and wildlife habitat just because developers are greedy and clear cut
everything just to squeeze everything they can into one small space. No thought to future or conservation.

Another traffic light between Forestville and 540 will significantly worsen an already horrific traffic flow. Unless there is an alternative traffic solution, allowing this development should be denied.

There is too much development going on, taking trees, wildlife and run-off will likely occur. Please do not go forward.

Buffaloe Road does not need another bottle neck when getting to I-540. The area infrastructure is already overloaded to the breaking point.

My community is already disrupted by the ever increasing traffic of 540; now you all want to tie the traffic and noise around our necks for all time.. Up until now, we have experienced the peace and seclusion that the lush NC foliage afforded us. That modicum of peace and protection is now being ripped from from our grasps as we stand helpless to do anything about it. Do not open our peaceful haven to additional noise and activity, by creating a shortcut and direct access to 540 from the Landover subdivision, particularly without a long-term plan to widen and improve current roads leading in and out. Also, with defined revisions to all adjacent road, stop lights and intersections leading to and from the connecting roads to and from Landover. Taking the above into consideration is a greater and more detailed operation requiring more time and consideration of the people, communities and wildlife directly and indirectly affected by the proposed changes.

I feel Forestville and Buffaloe should be widened prior to cramming more people into the area.

I live on the south side of 540 in River Landings and we already have 2 new communities under construction here and something big going on the property directly opposite River Landings. Where is all this traffic supposed to go? At minimum, the bridge crossing the Neuse River should be an immediate requirement before any new building is allowed. It can take me up to 15 minutes to get from the entrance of River Landings to 540 during either the morning or afternoon rush hours.

These developers do not have to deal with the traffic and headaches that these developments create.

I am particularly concerned with the electrical demand. We have brownouts from time to time in this neighborhood and with more electrical demand it can only get worse. Many people have also mentioned the traffic at Buffaloe Road and 540. With more homes already under construction in this area, this road exceeds capacity and will need to be widened.

Traffic at the Buffalo/Forestville traffic light is already awful! Driving home from 540 into the community between 4:30-6:30 is always backed up onto 540 and down Buffalo for a mile or more. There is not the proper infrastructure built to support additional homes in this already congested area, let alone, apartments or townhomes in that area! We chose this neighborhood for the single access road, and are against adding another entry point into the neighborhood. I am concerned at what this development will do for the home values, drainage, traffic, crime, construction traffic & noise. Please reconsider the development plans and take consideration for all of the challenges posed here today.

I CHOSE to buy a home outside of the city to ensure that I wouldn’t have to worry about heavy traffic and frequent fliers coming and going. Do not depreciate my investment because of greed for money for yourself. This areas roads are not sustainable for higher traffic upcoming

I am so concerned about an all-rental community and what it will do to home values, in addition to the increased traffic (which is already a nightmare), that I am considering moving out of the community all together. I love Landover, but it isn't worth the driving hassle that will only get worse.

Would love to invite the planning commission to, at minimum, view the traffic camera posted on the 540 bridge on a Thursday between 5:30 - 6:30pm, or any morning from 6:45 - 8:30a.
The Wake County Planning Commission is a scam! What exactly are they planning for? Endless gridlock, devastation of the quality of life for current and future residents? Maybe they are “planning” on environmental destruction with the demise of any remaining impervious surfaces near the Neuse River and it’s adjacent wetlands? Sure they’ll just raise the a stormwater fee again. Where do they planning commission live? Under a rock? Do they not have to co-exist with urban sprawl?
There’s a DOT study that shows the expected increase in use for this leg of 540 and it’s
