It is unfair to land owners to not be able to do what they want with their own property!
They paid for the property and pay taxes on it.
It is time that the zoning and county commissioners consider the property owners
I can understand if it is a business that would be detrimental to the area but this would be a great asset and with historical significance to the community !
What is the reason for turning down the zoning proposal?
I know my family last year had same issue with property in Lillian. Our property that we own and certain group of people blocked the rezoning due to wanting no further competition for their businesses.
People wanted something new to the area like a McDonalds or Starbucks!
The problem was that these were not interested in the property
We were to go before the commissioners.
It ended up beginning a mute cause.
One of the 2 business owners went behind scenes and sold his property to them.
So we lost out on the sale and the people in the area still get to pay highest prices for gas in Baldwin County!
I hope that the people in Magnolia Springs and Baldwin County does miss out on this because of wishes and motives of a few!

Not only should this be approved, I would be willing to invest in it.
This is the sort of unique LOCAL development that makes Baldwin County, Baldwin County.

This town is what it is because of its rich creole heritage. Let’s bring that culture back to our small town. Magnolia Springs could use some liveliness.

If you made a donation thinking it was in support of Rezoning Weeks Farm, there is no request for donations. I fell for that and found out all the money goes to the website. I demanded a full refund and received it because I do not like being duped. I request the website to have full disclosure and state that they should refund the money donated. However, the website said they do not know who donated to the rezoning or to ipetitions because ipetitions function by donations. If you feel duped as I did, then it is up to you to contact the website at their contact address listed at the bottom of the page. Sorry for the confusion. If you want to sign the petition and was scared off by the donation as one person said, then ignore the donation. You do not have to make a donation in order to support the rezoning.
