We definately don't need any more apartments in the area,please please consider the safety of our children at the schools and also the residents in mount bellew, as a resident it is so so so frustrating getting in/out of estate due to school traffic, so a solution is that area of land to be used as parking and then safety of the children,

This land is badly needed by the community - more housing is not the answer - the dangers our children already face enroute to and from school are already at crisis point - what will it take to make this land available to the community - a child being knocked down or worse again killed - LETS needs this land to alleviate current dangers for pupils and residents alike.

Current situation is not acceptable. Something has to be done regarding parking for school and drop-off area. Building more apartments will only escalate situation.

A school with no parking or set down facilities is unacceptable. Please kindly consider the chaotic scenes that are often visible in the mornings as a result of no available parking. Even the road side parking is so limited.. #PARKINGFORLETNS

The current traffic is very heavy around school hours, particularly in front of the school where most children are walking and crossing. One does not feel comfortable parking in a residential area taking another person's space, even for 15 minutes. Community use of the site is the best possible solution to rectify the problem to the benefit of the school and local residential community. Otherwise the problem will aggravate, rather than being resolved, with adding the cars of another 25 apartments in the area.

Childrens safety and amenities are far more important than additional housing in an already densely built up area. The adjacent apartment block currently under construction is considerably inferior / uglier than initial blocks and indicates the compromised planning standards council are setting as a precedence for their own development. Cheap and compromised !

I strongly support this motion to rezone the SDCC lands from residential to community use. The lack of parking around the Educate Together NS is having a detrimental impact to traffic congestion along the willsbrook and to the neighbouring estates. The present situation is also posing a hazard to the students as parents are being forced to park on the footpaths. This is an opportunity for SDCC to correct a past planning failure
