Thanks for doing this. The letter is spot on. I’ve been told that Ms. Worthington lives in St. Paul. If true It’s easy for her to make these decisions, she has no skin in the game.

I own my single-family home in SW. The very reasons I worked so hard to earn enough for a down payment to buy into this neighborhood would all be destroyed if the existing 2040 plan goes through. This is my retirement investment as well as the neighborhood in which I enjoy every single day for its current density, historical beauty and charm. My lifestyle and my investment would be devastated if this plan goes through. It must be changed.

I have lived in Linden Hills for over 10 years and absolutely love my neighborhood. Please rethink this plan and take into account how many people treasure the uniqueness of how this neighborhood is today and how changes can be made but still preserve our community.

I am very supportive of making this a more equal and diverse city, but this feels like a give-away to developers.

I understand the need to expand on the major corridors, but I strongly oppose the changes proposed for the adjacent blocks, you will destroy the neighborhood feel of those communities. If this passes we will strongly organize at the grass roots to make sure none of you are elected ever again!

I am strongly smelling behind-the-scenes deals already made with developers, the only ones who will smile all the way to the bank.

This proposal is unacceptable for existing Mpls homeowners.

Appropriate development is wonderful and necessary. I am on the list of Isles families in favor of the light rail because that is appropriate development It is not acceptable to completely disregard neighborhoods and Minneapolis residents. The city needs to focus more on win win proposals and on making less desirable neighborhoods more desirable instead of making more desirable neighborhoods less desirable. For example If the district put money into a true college prep school like Nova Classical Academy in North Minneapolis you would have droves of committed parents driving their kids to school there and wanting to do more for the community that is currently not on their radar. I’m sure there are a million examples like this. Think out of the box, pay attention to win win opportunities.

The damage that the 2040 Plan would work on the place that I have loved for the last 42 years would be incalculable.

This plan would completely remove the charm of residential MPLS neighborhoods. MANY more restrictions need to be laid down before this plan is considered.

The current plan, as proposed, will destroy all that makes Minneapolis unique.

This plan does not adresse the additional parking requirements of multi family units . Or the additional cost of maintaining streets in residential areas.

Please don't allow the character and cohesiveness of our blocks and neighborhoods to be irreparably damaged through indiscriminate zoning practices.

This was a top down plan....completely against the d mocratic input of the 70 neighborhoods, it is insulting to those of us who have worked for decades to make Minneapolis a green and just community.

As a resident of Armatage, I am appalled that the plan masterminds would think that our Street, Washburn Ave S, is suitable for enormous buildings depicted in the Corridor 3 rendering. Neither us nor our neighbors will be sticking around if our block goes the way the city planners want it to. The plan MUST change or families WILL leave.

This plan needs more conversation. Please do not move forward without considering the facts and long-term effects to all neighborhoods in minneapolis.

More stupid ideas from a few politicans over the majority of residents. Vote them out
