Turned the program around from what? His only winning season was last year and never made the playoffs. Lack made they playoffs and had winning seasons. I don't understand whAt he has done to turn it around

It should be both. Are y'all forgetting that he played that kid in week 9 being ineligible , but I guess that's bakers fault huh!!!!

Coach Powell is an amazing man his is always there for his kids football season or not will help them in anyways has help me so much with my son there no reason for these kids to lose a great loving an caring man like him

I think that all the coaches and mark baker should have been let go. It wasn't just Marks fault in this. They played a kid that was ineligible in week 9 and if the Belmont principal wouldn't have said anything then they would have played him in the game and playoffs. Is it wrong that he was the only one to blame yes it is, but it started with him playing the kid in week 9 and not thinking they would get caught.

Coach Powell has had a very huge impact on the Dunbar football team for the past years. The young men deserve a Coach like himself. There is no reason for him not to be the coach.

For the sake of the 40-50 young men on this football team, as well as the dozens of kids who are also associated with Dunbar Football, put aside your petty adult issues and make the right decision for the children! Darran Powell is the best and only possible head coach for the young men of Dunbar Football.

We want a coach that has a vested interest in our kids. Darren is a great young coach for the kids and we want him back in.
