This petition is to lobby the College to revoke the rushed admin restructure, to keep our admin teams within our departments and to conduct an investigation into departmental admin performance to see where departments are performing well and to address areas which can be improved looking forward, rather than the rushed process undertaken thus far which is changing all department's admin structures. Such an investigation needs to have student experience at its forefront. The current model provides standardisation which will bring down the level of service from high performing departments to uniform mediocrity. Instead high performing departments should be used as role models to others. Therefore, student representation and engagement is critical, which we, the student body, believe has not been carried out adequately, primarily due to the lack of investigation and student engagement prior to the decision being made by the College to restructure the admin teams.

Critically, the student body has been left in the dark whilst College have been making rushed advancements to the restructure. We demand complete transparency moving forwards, with open and constructive dialogue between students, the College, and the SU.
