Science must be verified , peer review is not enough as it has become a tick and flick from on sides prompting an agenda.

All studies should ALWAYS be independently verified & a further confirmation prior to any legislation....what ever happened to due diligence????

I was around when mercurial fungicides and benzinehexachloride were banned. The science said these chemicals were a danger to the reef. Yet when researches went looking at the reef, the coastal creeks and lagoons nothing was found. The only findings were in actual farm internal drainage. Do the research then act if the results indicate.

Before any State based environmental legislation is put before Parliaments without an Upper House or House of Review, they should be subject to a Referendum at the next State Election.
