This lies just around the corner from the former Tower Cinemas, also shut down. Newcastle is going to need these two to be operational as it redevelops the cultural feel of the east end, with the business occurring at the west end.

Oh this building must be saved and how wonderful it would be to have another venue in which to experience live theatre; jobs front and back and on stage will be created and Newcastle's cultural experience will be enhanced. Fully support this campaign

As an actor how working in commercial theatre who also grew up in Newcastle, this theatre could represent so much to the community. It’s an invaluable part of of arts heritage that needs to be preserved.
