I want this show to have the chance to run its course more than anything on the world. If I had the choice between a million dollars or even just one more season of Firefly, I'd pick Firefly in an instant. It is absolutely cruel to let people get so emotional involved with such wonderful characters, and then to not let their story be told. I don't care if it's been a year, Tenn years, or a hundred. I will always want Firefly to have a chance to finally be fulfilled as the brilliant story that it was always meant to be. #BringBackFirefly

If you don't think we are serious about our Firefly, Mr. Ted Sarandos, then why don't you publicly challenge us to raise money through some venue. If you gave us a specific target to fund our favorite show, it would probably be met in less than a week. If Firefly had been publicly announced in any form while it was on the air, you'd not even have this opportunity at all. I do think you are not very smart however, Ted, for not watching Firefly already and renewing it irregardless of whether you'd make money, but because it is the right thing to do, it is art, and the more Netflix becomes a patron of the arts the more their reputation will grow. Good luck with your business, especially if you don't hitch your wagon to Firefly. Brad

There are too many terrible things given way too much focus in this world. When you come across something that touches people, in a genuine way, you should support it in any way possible. Firefly has a lot to offer, across the board, in the way of positive messages and a hopeful outlook for our flawed species. Firefly shows a cast of flawed humans, in a difficult situation, rising to the challenge of supporting each other and pursuing their own personal growth. I would love to have this example of humans to offer posterity than so much that is given free rein to in today's media.
