I was interested in moving into north park. But after visiting the area I was very displeased about the area and the condition. Not only was I uncomfortable with the homeless population but I was also unhappy with the condition the streets in general are. I don't feel like the price of the apartments would be justified by the quality of the neighborhood.

City of San Diego needs to do better for the homeless population and the community of North Park. It is a disgrace how the park has been allowed to turn into a homeless camp with all the problems, i.e: drug use, drinking, fights and littering. Please city council, put our property taxes to use in our neighborhood to make it safe and livable place.

My husband and I purchased our first home recently and were so excited to be able to afford a place in north park. Shortly after moving in the situation at the park was so bad that I did not feel safe even walking our dog alone night or day. Something needs to be done to clean up this park! And make North Park Safe again!

Resident/Owner at 4203 Idaho St Unit 9. My wife and I have definitely noticed a major increase in homeless activity in the park, along with public intoxication, open alcohol containers, and drug use. Bottom line is that my wife and I do not feel safe using the park.

I have twin toddler boys that would like to be able to use the playground but homeless sleep in playground, leave trash and it just basically unusable much of the time.

Yes North Park is an eyesore and drugstore it needs to be stopped. Security needs to be placed around the clock.

I'm a Morley Field property owner. The crime and homeless issues are getting out of hand in North Park. Something needs to be done immediately.

Clean up this park as every time I drive by it all you see is homeless people. I also hate going to Vons on Howard for the exact same reason.

I'm a senior, and want to feel safe at this park. It's underutilized at present and could be a "jewel" in North Park.

As a mother in this neighborhood who brings my 2 year old son to this park, increased regulation on the open drug use in this area is a must for the safety of neighborhood kids who need a safe outdoor space to play.
