It appears that the situation has gotten extremely toxic with teh current executive director. Many staff members have been hurt, and decisive action from the board is needed to make amends for these harms that have been done to the promotoras.

I'm sad to learn of this injustice. I've seen firsthand the dedication and hard work of las promotoras, and I stand firmly in their support

This is extremely disappointing and disheartening to receive this news. My heart and support go out to the Las Promotoras, who I have witnessed firsthand their hard work and dedication at the community garden. As a donor, I pledge my support by choosing to hold any future financial donations until I have seen the change needed in RE:vision.

Mayra Fabiola is my sister and I support the petition to conduct a third party investigation into the conduct of Mariana Del Hierro and address issues surrounding the hostile work environment, protect promotoras and Re:Visión employees from retaliation.

The heart and soul of Re:Vision lies in the Promotora model. When Promotoras speak up, the organization and community must listen. The power of being community-led is that no one person is bigger than the organization. The board of Re:Vision has failed in it's primary duty - the duty of care - by failing to take credible action when the voice of the community has spoken. Worse yet, the Board has enabled a culture of fear, retaliation, and emotional abuse to cause severe harm to the community, and to the organization's reputation. Change is needed.
