Kids will distract themselves with or without their phones. Instead, try keeping the passionate teachers who engage healthy debate and conversation in classrooms, and they'll be more willing to pay attention.

I sympathize with the teachers who feel that phones shouldn't be used in class because it takes away class time. But during our breaks, it's completely unfair. I use study hall to do homework, read emails from colleges and financial aid, keep on top of my extracurricular responsibilities, etc. And just in case anyone's worried, if I really wanted to text and browse my social media during MY break, I don't need a phone to do it.

I will say that we should use our phone becuase then it will be easier for us to research on projects and that the school would be less boring, especially during lunch.

I'm sick of not allowed to use our phones when we need it the most. Older Kids use their phones but we cant!

I think that phones should be rightful to use during lunches and also before and after school as well as school sponsored events. With the exceptions of test days or other events which might need extra measures to prevent communication or cheating.

In today's society it seems almost unlogical to ban phones during school down time when in reality it is constantly used in the real world (moderdern society) for many purposes beside the normal texting and calling

Yo, the teacher took my phone at the end of the day when I needed to go home like seriously, waste of my time to get my phone back, no joke I was going to say no to her on giving up my phone but yanno I ain't going to be suspended for that.
