It is a beautiful place and I would love to see it stay open. I just wish people would take care of it without the threat of losing it.

I'm signing this petition because I think it's wrong to close any nature area however I see so many comments about out of state people leaving their trash, I'm sure they do, but so do the locals. I've camped up there meny times and cleaned up after 2P, 8B and 1B plates. In my opinion it's not all about the trash, I don't know how many times I've gone up there just to clear my mind and there are local people up there with their trucks tearing up the dirt road to the camp sites creating ruts so deep that I couldn't drive my vehicle through. I agree that something needs to be done but I also agree that closing it down isn't going to be a fix all.

I love this camp sight, I don't like cleaning up after out of state people, but I do it anyways as does anyone that learned about leaving a camp sight better than when you came in.

I've made way too many memories here since a child, and plan on continuing this tradition with my kids, and my kids' kids. We have always cleaned up after we are done camping and would clean up other campsites as well if thats what it takes to keep East Fork open.

Love going to east fork with my family it’s the only time we actually bond because their isn’t any cell service please don’t close east fork rockland
