This is a difficult time. hopefully NZ could allow students with a valid student visa to enter the country and I think these student are willing to accept a time-limited quarantine

I’ll make sure I isolate myself for 14 days but please let me fly back so I can be at university when it starts.

Oversea students have their rights to back for study and if government wanna prevent the Coronavirus why not doing something in your country but immediately travel ban include oversea students? They helped a lot on economy for everything in NZ. That is unfair and should be concerned more. Making some checklists what you should check and prevent, and slowly let some china students in is more better than follow AU travel ban from whole China.

It’s unfair to the international students. Science stage 3 paper only available in the semester 1. And we have Labs which is important. If we cannot go back to NZ, which means I need to spend one more year at university

Should let people with long term visa come like student and work visas! Here is their home as well!

Instead of closing the broader to non-nz citizens and residents. Why not do something at the airport like measuring one’s temperature and do close checks? Students should have the right to receive the education they paid for once they are confirmed healthy by the customs of NZ.

Students visa holders and working visa holders should be allowed to live in NZ after selfisolation
