Review the impact of the The Boulder Shelter for the Homeless on adjacent neighborhoods
The Boulder Shelter for the Homeless (4869 N. Broadway, Boulder, CO 80304) continues to accept convicted sex offenders and violent predators as residents. The Shelter is located in near proximity to a vibrant and growing community of families and schools.
We, the undersigned, are concerned with the growing number of violent convicted felons that are permeating our neighborhoods as a result of their direct connection to the Shelter. We wish to bring these concerns to the attention of the Boulder City Council, the director of the Shelter, and any other persons or entities involved in the governance of the Shelter.
We will use the signatures on this petition to gauge the level in interest in this issue, and to determine what, if any, further action should be taken.

My family and I have witnessed homeless men camping overnight in the open space along with drinking, smoking, littering and relieving themselves.
