RMG charging for home owners wanting to change mortgage providers is just a scam! Why is this even legal?

I own my house not a rental and I have freehold for my land. I appose paying for upkeep of areas of shared property and public fee paying areas such as pitches and facilities.

Extortionate charges based on the fact I already pay council tax. There are things they are paid to do that they don't and when you need to speak to them they don't answer your questions. If I pay for a service I expect to get it 100% not at best 50%

RMG do not charge me a nominal fee. I am paying nearly £400 for a detached house in a 'home zone' Despite much correspondence with RMG I still don't know what I am paying for, a big chunk seems to be for management fees. Being ripped off without a doubt.
