I have previously been a member and was planning to rejoin, but would go to Virgin Active instead if this plan goes ahead. Two hours of £7 childcare a day is £98 a week, which is ridiculous.

I believe this charge is unacceptable as the conditions of the Harbour as were were the reason we chose it and accepted to pay such a high fee in the first place.

I choose the gym because this type of benefits. I the gym offer that in the conditions. The gym can offer another activities or clase with charge but no change the initial conditions, it sound no really legal.

We have been members for so many years, even the years when it was originally David Lloyd. These seemingly petty changes will be disastrous for the club and could mean it closes. These changes cover aspects that are personal, and deal breakers. For some it’s pilates reformer, obviously for everyone with young children, for me it’s access to outdoor pools in summer. On a business level it makes no sense: whatever small amount management thought they’d gain by adding these fees will be lost when membership dries up, We appreciate that staff at the club didn’t choose this, that these decisions must have come from people who do not know us, our loyalty to the club, or gratitude to the hard working staff - including smiling friendly cleaners in the changing room - all who will be without a job if this continues because everyone we’ve spoken with is already trying to figure out which competitive club to join instead. We genuinely want to stay. So please, rethink all these silly changes, and let us go to the other clubs with outdoor pools. Thank you.

Prices were raised for HC now benefits have been taken away including paying for Pilates which is one of the very few things I can do following a serious bike accident. I plan to choose an alternative jam after 18 years

Very poor communication around changes with little time to review and assess properly. The changes impact our ability to get best use out of the club. We have received no callbacks after requesting feedback.

I only joined the gym because of the creche & made that clear when I joined. It was one of the main selling points. I do not believe that the Harbour Club should be able to amend the terms of the creche without allowing its members to cancel their membership.

All changes are crazy - and the way of communicating by David Lloyd I don’t appreciate

Seriously considering legal action at this stage.

It’s been very disappointing the way that HC management has handled the situation. Members were given far too shorter notice of the changes and information about the new changes have nit been forthcoming!!

It’s absolutely unacceptable to notify people who have been members for years to transfer over to David lloyds with such short notice. I joined this gym as I have 2 kids under the age of 5 for the crèche and the kids classes to give me time to work out for Myself. I had many other choices to pick from however I picked harbour club for the reason mentioned above. I’ve also thought this transition wanted to transfer over to Notting hill as it’s the same club atm but if I would like to do so I’ll have to pay an additional £900 joining fee just to transfer my family over. I’ve never heard of anything so outrageous.

Please keep Harbor club Kensington as it has always been for the sake of their members, it’s fair, specially not having given enough notice it has been absolutely disappointing, feeling a sense of being unconsidered to all the people that pay their memberships in Harbour club Kensington.

Disappointed Harbour Club has been so unsupportive of its members by making these changes without consulting them or considering the impact. Poor leadership and customer service on Harbour Club’s part.

They've also given us such short notice on the changes. Not even 10 days. Total lack of respect.
