I am not opposed to transgender people have rights. I am opposed to sexual abuse which is what this new law encourages. If we need there to ba a gender nutral bathroom added just like a family bathroom than I would rather remove all community bathrooms and wait in ridiculously log lines than to allow anyone, children especially, to be more vulnerable to sexual abuse. It digusts me that this didn't seem to be a concern when this law was discussed and then passed.

So being a man, I can just say I "identify" as being a woman, so I have the right to enter a women's bathroom or shower, with women and young girls in there? What's the difference between that and unwanted "exposing" of ones self to the opposite sex or children in a public place??? Next, that will be ok?? Stupid!! This needs to be reversed immediately.

I'm a frequent traveler to Washington, but I refuse to use a public restroom with men, or born-men. This ridiculous policy to reward people who can't figure out their own gender, at the expense of those of us who are intelligent enough to know if we're make or female, is beyond stupidity. Stop giving awards and concessions to mentally disturbed individuals. Common sense needs to be cultivated, and today!!!

Although I don't want to cause more emotional harm to transgenders than many already face, the risk to safety of women/children is of much more importance. Sexual abuse is rampant, abusers are bold, as they are rarely held accountable, in part from the fear and trauma instilled in their victims. I vote for abandoning this idea. Thank you.

This policy needs yo be reviewed so that voting represents the majority. Lets keep with constitutional rights for ALL people. Keep America what our founders intended it to be. NO minority or larger group should be misrepresented. We ALL have rights but it has always been the majority vote that keeps with our constitution and our freedom as a whole. Minority groups should never be left unheard but sometimes we have to come up with ways to meet the needs of the minority without taking away the needs of the majority, We are a smart nation let's use our brains!

Oh, no WAY! I would be horrified if a male came into the womens' locker room at my gym, and with good cause! I really don't care WHAT kind of mental issues he has or which gender he wants to pretend to be, if he's genetically and physiologically male, he does NOT belong in a women's locker room or restroom!

No thanks. Leave our restrooms alone. This is another avenue for perverts...and they will get away with it. Don't our police have better things to do? If you actually bust a pervert in the restroom, will HE be out on the streets in 2hours like the drug dealers are? What jail are you putting the perverts in? Or is it OK to express yourself whenever you want, where ever you are? Be free!
