Repeal the Washington Open-Bathroom Policy Now!

I want my two granddaughters protected from sexual deviates who will use this legislation to gain access to women's facilities.

This law is immoral! As a former school board member that saw this coming forward, believe me, most board members did not want this to pass, but their hands were tied. THEN AFTER IT WAS FORCED UPON THEM, THEY HAD TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO FINANCE IT AND BUILD OR ACCOMMODATE THE LAW WITHIN THEIR SCHOOLS! That's called an unfunded mandate. The Leg does this all the time.

Give me a break! What's the world coming to!! I will no longer feel safe, using the bathroom in a public place. What a meal ticket for the perverts. Guess I'd better get myself a gun, incase I have an emergency and have to use a restroom, in a public place! If my kids were in school, I'd take them out or get them martial arts lessons, or something! This is just absurd!!!!!!

As a active 22 year law enforcement professional I believe this policy opens the door for sexual assaults, voyeurism and confusion. This policy creates a potentially dangerous situation inwhich the state is forcing females into.

Please bring HB2589, the "bathroom bill to the floor to be debated! Please protect our women & children from predators!! Please use common sense!!

Are you kidding me!!!! This is silly

I am a women and I would not use a public restroom that has both genders , Are you kidding me? There are too many perverts out there. Plus it would be a set up for rape. This is crazy! Make a bathroom for the unknown! Better yet for the idiots!

WAC Rule 162-32 is wrong on so many levels. It's time to put common sense and basic decency ahead of this kind of wacky nonsense!

You need to be in a bathroom with people that have the same visible, physical organs as you do, no matter what sexual gender you may feel you are. This would be extremely harmful to children if passed.

I am against this bill. It puts children and women in danger.

Please protect privacy and youth from predation.

I respectfully ask that this policy is reversed. This is policy is dangerous to young kids, especially girls. Should this go through it will be difficult for many parents to send their children to school or other places giving the concern of sexual harassment and invasion.

I am concerned for the safety and privacy of myself and my daughter. Where are our rights? It's not right to take away the rights of many to give to a few when it can invite harm. This opens too many doors to pedofiles, rapists, and perverts.

Privacy and safety is important for everybody. Children should be allowed to retain their innocence and modesty. Public restrooms have always been a prime area that sexual predators use to prey on victims. Don't make it easier for them. Keep everybody safe!
