I urge you to PLEASE reverse this "Open-Bathroom Policy"!! Although I feel for the (relative few) people with gender identity issues, I feel even more for the people (children being the most vulnerable) who will be put in harm's way by the wrong people taking advantage of this new "right" by feigning a different gender identity so they can have access to potential victims. Have separate one-person restrooms for this purpose, thereby also protecting the person using that facility from possible hate crimes.

A person's sex is listed on his or her birth certificate . . . That's an irrefutable fact. Whatever else they may claim as their life progresses is of no consequence. They should not be permitted to switch-hit their gender depending on how they perceive themselves on one day or another; and then use that to arbitrarily select which gender sanitary facility they want to use. The Human Rights Commission is engaging in reckless endangerment of the public-at-large when they attempt to permit such behavior. Some really nasty events are guaranteed to occur if they are not stopped from enacting the likes of WAC 162-32.

More importantly, this rules allows a specific population to OVERSTEP my personal rights for privacy and values that have been present for hundreds of years.
