It's hard enough to afford UT as it is. This proves that UT is more interested in the volume of new students instead of the retention of old.

The University of Tampa is not putting the interests of their current students first. They are shifting all their focus to future students only. They keep implementing rules and policies with zero regard for how it will impact current students.

Housing should be based on seniority and the amount of credits a student has. This new policy may seem like an awesome way to get new student freshman through the doors, but what about when the freshman become the upper classmen? This is no way to treat those dedicated to the school; you're going to lose students.

It is inconsiderate to the people to give away the right of upper-class students to choose the dorm they would like to live in because they have been living, studying, and for some others representing the university during athletic events for a longer time period.

The upperclassmen were promised university housing since their first visit on campus during their senior years. It is unethical and unconscionable that the housing policy has been suddenly reversed. Those students who have lived on campus for 3 years should be grandfathered and allowed to select their housing by seniority. This is no way to build a loyal (and giving) base of alumni and parents.

I'm so glad i am gonna be done with this school coming may, but this is not fair for those who are currernly in their sophomore and junior year.

Generally the upperclassmen should have favor over the underclassmen. At UT it seems they reward the new student instead of the loyal 3-4 year student.
