Disgusting it has now opened the door for the rape of our countryside.

There can be no new builds on or near the skyline on this headland. It is utterly inappropriate and unnecessary and sets a terrible precedent.

Would be terrible to ruin a place of outstanding natural beauty and very surprised it was granted so must be corruption going on. Shame on the council you really need to back track

Firstly it did have any of you actually seen where the build will take place? Have you seen the building in question, it is for a local british farmer and won't actually affect the area. This petition is ridiculous and nothing will come of it. It has had more support from true locals in the area. Im glad that Chris got the planning permission. It will not affect the AONB

I’m not allowed double glazing to insulate my house because I’m in a conservation area but modern development in an AONB is given permission???? It doesn’t feel very fair or proportionate.

Such an area of outstanding natural beauty. It’s devastating to even think of any kind of building there. Please do not allow this to happen!

This place is one of the few unspoilt hills in the southwest, after seeing what has cheapened on my own hill at hingston down, i know the building wont stop once the firs one is granted, this is how the councils ramrod bigger development thru in the future, by letting pilot project go ahead spoiling the places we love forever. This must be stopped.

Looks like the corruption and nepotism so evident in Westminster is spreading to the provinces.
Four parish councillors left the council immediately prior to the 'emergency' parish Council meeting called to approve this application during lockdown.
The proposed site was bulldozed and cleared prior to any ecological survey; this in itself is illegal.
The mitigating circumstances, as outlined to the Cornwall planning Committee, read like a fairytale and bear no resemblance to the reality of the situation.
Cornwall Council are setting a dangerous precedent and need to be called to account. After all, they work on our behalf, allegedly!

Disgusting that there has been no public consultation. This screams corruption on the highest level. The applicant is the Chair of the Parish Council. Shame on you.
