Our councils are become far to corrupt from planning to contracting they barely bother to hide it any more.

This applicant should not be able to take advantage of his position on the local council to spoil such a beautiful location by building on it, where one house is built more will follow, please refuse planning permission

We need to think about how we take direct action. I believe that Nolan principles around good governance have been breached through this process and this should not be allowed to stand unchallenged. I am happy to be involved.

I truly think that a big mistake has been made here. When the farmer purchased the plot of land a few years ago he must have been aware , having grown up here, that to seek permission to build a very large modern house in an area of outstanding natural beauty is entirely inappropriate whichever way you look at it. The planning committee appeared to drift off the point and to base their decision on the possibility of conflict between dog walkers and sheep. They need to look again at their decision as it appears flawed.

I disagree with this planning decision and believe the process by which it was made was not balanced and considered. Further review must be made in view of the above points.

There’s no need to develop in this area which is a hot spot for one of the U.K.’s rarest birds the cirl bunting.

Safeguards in Aonb's are in place for reasons, they are not there to be disregarded. The planning decision needs overturning, it appears to me that someone could be seen to be using their position to thwart due process and ride roughshod over checks and balances to get their plans passed.
