Surely it makes sense to refurbish buildings standing empty before you build more?? If any buildings are going up in Cornwall they should be for social housing only.

I am a former resident of Cornwall (now Devon) but a enjoy walks in this area regularly. This development would destroy the magnificence of RamevHead and views of it from 50-60 miles away. The development should not go ahead.

Can't believe those councillors wanting to pass this it's a disgrace! If this is allowed to go ahead it will be the start of this kind of thing happening all over our beautiful coutryside and that just can't be allowed

This stinks of something underhand and I am utterly appalled that this was given the go ahead. You cannot have an AONB with new builds stuck in the middle of it. This person does not have to live in a caravan if he can afford to build he can afford to rent. Leave AONB Alone for future generations

AONB’s are highest level of protection for good reason. Planning laws have got weaker and it shows in St Mawes and many other areas where huge boxes worth millions are being bought up and not enough local needs housing being built. Surely there’s alternative sites to an AONB that needs to be saved from development?
