The area gained international recognition for its unique landscape when used as a setting in the movie “Mr. Turner”.
The new farmhouse could be positioned more discreetly within the landscape.

There can only be corrupt incentives for consenting to this inappropriate planning application and it would probably be better to squelch it now before those implicated are presented with less appealing options. The signatories on record are easily susceptible to an analysis.

I am yet another person that is tired of Cornwall Council allowing the development of every last green space of Cornwall. It must stop! And specially in our AONB's!

The area is designated an AONB No one, not even a parish council chair with a father on the Council, should be allowed to build there

Absolutely disgusted and shocked by this decision against ALL of the professional advice, hundreds of local objections, turns out applicant is chair of parish council - the only people in favour. Absolute corruption. So many beauty areas already spoiled by terrible planning decisions, so here we go again. The design and scale of the property clearly show that no matter what restrictions are put on this, it WILL end up being sold as a holiday/2nd/ home at some point for millions. Horrendous.

Agricultural = get a few sheep, grow a few swede and then decide shortly after moving in, you don't like having sheep or growing swedes, do you have to sell to someone who does or pull the house down?
