I find it almost beyond belief that the local council could approve the building. If this goes ahead you should put a covenant on the building stating it can only be lived in by an agricultural worker and only sold to an agricultural worker. Wages in the area would be unable for anyone to get a mortgage on such a property. This is definitely not the place for any buildings.

No, just no! On the Parish Council's website, it's clearly stated that "The role of the council is to take on responsibility of their community and representation of the constituencies". Clearly Christopher Wilton is seeking to benefit from his influence as Chair - perhaps it's time someone with the community interests at heart should be elected to take his place.

It makes a mockery of the whole concept of designating an area as AONB and in what is a particularly sensitive area. This planning permission MUST be reversed.

Hi.. My name is Paul Berry and my dad was reg Berry and Millbrook cemetery is where they all lay now. I'm the last Berry member.. I live now in Jersey channel islands.. But as a child rame head was my playground and polown and maker church ground.. I can not believe that someone is trying to build up rame.. It's absolutely for everyone.. But not for one to build on.. Im in shock that anyone would think they can get away with this and say its for working people for the land.. Rubbish.. My dad and grandad spent there lifetime building Millbrook and mashfourds boat yard.. As shipwrights. They would turn in the grave over this.. Let alone give the council a good reminder of people every day life up rame.. I can tell you now.. People who own chalets up whitesands are not aloud to build because of the beauty of the land... So why are they aloud to have an house built up rame... No.. It don't cut the mustard.. Some one who has a bit of money who thinks they can just do this... It's not going to happen.. If I can speak for my dead relatives... They would all fight this all the way... Rame head my dad took my mother.. With child. That's me.. My dad took me all over the cliffs and rame I took my first girlfriend and my children.. I never thought some greedy parson would try this.. Let alone anyone giving the go ahead.. As per usual.. It only takes one... Only one deserves to carry on enjoying the beauty of rame head without new houses or greed.. For ones own pleasure... It's all wrong... I know what my dad would say.. But I can't repeat it..... Please can someone understand.. Who actually gets it.... See sense not pounds and let's all enjoy this beautiful landscape as it is...

I can't believe that this would even be considered, let alone passed. I realise that it's for the use of agricultural workers in the area, but it is so inappropriate and would make little difference if it was slightly further away at Millbrook or Kingsand. It would also be more nearer to amenities such as schools - since a 4 bedroom house implies there will be children living there.

This is an unspoilt area and should remain so. The alleged agricultural use appears totally contrived. There are few areas like this left in Cornwall - please keep it like this. Thank you.

AONB should mean NO development whatsoever. There is plenty of non AONB land available for development.

No objection in principle to a house being built somewhere but not that house in that location. Council governance must also be investigated.

This is a protected site & any building there should only be for essential use & should be hugely sympathetic to the environment. This contemporary House would stick out like a sore thumb. Although it's claimed it would be for housing agricultural workers, looking at the design, I suspect that function would cease fairly quickly & it will then either be owner occupied or sold on the open market & would then set a planning precedent for other homes to be built. If accomodation is needed for agricultural staff, could this not be created with temporary eco dwellings, like pods, that could be removed as soon as not needed for workers? Could there be a planning stipulation that the dwelling be of a temporary & essential use only nature? The claim of essential use all feels uncomfortably close to a means of getting around planning. Are these workers really going to be housed in what looks a spectacular & expensive house? This planning consent should be rescinded immediately

We can't believe they would even consider building any dwelling at this location. If this is allowed it will open the way for other applications like this. In areas of outstanding natural beauty there should definitely be an appeal process, to have decision of this importance decided by such a small group of people could be open to conjecture and doubt.
