It does look like a diminished council might well have been exploited as a way to sneak this conflict of interest through. I would like the advice of experts to be valued, and the process to be made public. We strongly request that the matter be reopened with a public consultation.

I spent my entire Childhood and early adulthood growing up at Rame head. It is a very special unspoilt place which is a very rare thing these days. I’m sure many others feel the same. Please leave it alone and scrap the building if this potential unsightly monstrosity.

They always claim it is for agricultural workers but that usually turns out to be untrue. Once you have one property others will follow.

Absolutely catastrophic decision. I have been enjoying the unspoiled beauty of Rame and Whitsand Bay for over 30 years. This cannot be allowed to happen!!!

Pretty dubious circumstances led up to granting a planning permission for a new house on this unique AONB land that the local Parish Council are meant to protect. Instead, under the cloak of the "lock down" they approved this hideous development for their Chairman.

Getting fed up with being told 'you don't own Cornwall, we have rights too'. But we do live here and pay for the privilege, so we have some rights too! Bit like the right to live through Covid and visit some beautiful areas while we still have them.
