An absolute tragedy that this proposal got through. Will destroy a area of natural beauty because a parish councillor wants to live there for his own selfish gains.

This is a travesty of the planning process which should protect our AONB. In this case both the parish council and county council have failed in their duty.

I wasn’t at when the meeting when this went through. However, I understand that the way the motion was flipped at the last minute, meant that there was wholesale confusion about what was being voted for!

Proper process has not been followed that is clear, I am shocked it has gone through in its current design and process. Something more in keeping and smaller in scale a possible option, if found that there has to be accommodation built there. Maybe an agreement that only agricultural workers living in AND if ever sold too in the future and no holiday letting. I think ANOB area should have stronger position to say no, I thought it did, so very disappointing.
