Reverse Decision to Ban Honor Cords and Stoles

I don’t want my hard work to go unnoticed. I don’t care if others buy cords and act untrustworthy-I want the cord for myself and for it to act as a personal souvenir and reminder for my hard work at IHS.

Please keep honor cords and stokes for the hard work students!

Could someone explain why this decision to stop honor cords and stokes?

Commencement is all about recognizing excellence! This move to reduce everyone to the least common denominator is misguided.

Above and beyond achievements should be recognized, either in school or at work. The kids work so hard for 4 years, but you don’t even want them to shine for a moment on that special day. Don’t discourage our hard work students.

It is unfair for hard work student!!

This is such a backward movement of the society!

Honor cord/stole is a great inspirational tool for the entire high school community!

Reward is a good thing for hard work.

That principle should step down.

Since when high achievers are discouraged? Oh, since the King County education system is sugar coating diversity, and trade it with high quality?

We need to have high standards and expectations for the kids. That's how they build self esteem.

What a simple Principal

This decision is not only highly unacceptable but it is very disappointing for all the students who have worked hard to maintain high GPA’s.

This is stupid decision，the students who get the good performance are deserved with award！
