One issue I’ve experienced in school is students regularly throw away plastic utensils. For example, she threw away everything except the fork. Many students also have school lunch meaning the usage of single use plastic is very common. I think getting reusable utensils is an important issue to address because it can help with preserving the environment by using less plastic.

Additionally, according to over consumption and the environment:should we all stop shopping?,”when people buy less stuff, you get immediate drops in emissions,resources consumption and pollution,unlike anything we've achieved with green technology.” This shows that if we can lower our consumption on unnecessary items like single use plastic it can result in pollution that we can get somewhere else. This is an important issue because if we do not address it its just going to raise gas emission for no reason which later on gives us long term issues.
