This is ridiculous who ever changed this. For Many reasons. Change it back. Stop changing things that work well. Logan County fair is pathetic also.

Please revisit your decisions this year. The flea market, art fair and wine tent all suffered greatly this year. Something has got to be done differently.

I really missed out this year.. I had family that was out of town wanted to go bc they was up here for my wedding. It's no fun without it all together!!!

If it is not an option to go back to the way it was before may I suggest possibly combing the art fair on the same weekend as the balloons. Then have the Bbq, beer, and wine together at another time. These things seem to make more sense together anyways. I was happy to see the crowds at the ballon fest in the evening and glad to know it can carry its own. However, there is nothing to do during the day and that is what is disappointing. Also, the whole not enough volunteer excuse is getting old. I saw plenty of people bunched together in certain areas, riding golf cats ( really, how many people does it take to run water??) , but yet the trash was overflowing horribly by 8p and there was no toilet paper by that time as well. That is cosmetic but is what makes people want to come back or stay away. A clean festival leads to more people. I hope that the powers that be read each and every comment , good and bad, and take them into consideration. Hopefully not all the vendors, artists, and out of town guests have been scared off and will come back if this is put back together in some form.

I work at two downtown businesses and I can tell you that the choice that was made with splitting up weekends has ruined revenue! Talked to many people from out of town that were very upset with making the trip not and knowing the art festival was not going on.

I am not a Lincoln resident but feel I have a right to speak up because we are in Kofan county and we do participate in events.

Well, I'm right along with most. Having been to the Art Fair, so few vendors and less people going. Even witnessed a couple vendors chatting and overheard being said, just if something else was going on, it would help. I'm afraid this split has done nothing be give Lincoln a bad taste to any vendors in the future. Also note, the local business's downtown have lost out, last year it was packed, this year, nothing. People have no reason to walk past the square to go to Scully Park, so local business owners suffered a loss. In the future, if things stay this way, no vendor will come and we all lose. As far as volunteers, I never saw a lack of assistance, I would usually see several in a group chatting here and there. Did anyone think to contact high school groups or church groups to help? It would be great publicity for them also to be able to show how they support the community which in turn would help with their own fundraisers. I, personally, am unable to volunteer as I am disabled. But I would like to see Lincoln thrive, and I hope that the "powers that be" who made the decision to split re-assess their decision and do what is best for our community, local business's, and moral. People all over looked forward to Balloon Fest weekend, the choice of activities to see was the big draw. But as with the Art Fair, our local business's suffered tragically. You have hurt Lincoln's visitors draw, our residents dependent on a successful event, and the moral of the residents of this city. People can't afford to take vacations, pay for hotels and meals 3 different times in a year to one location. Let's be smart, Lincoln, give us back what we all want. The City of Lincoln is no longer on visitors minds as a place to go. Make the change back now! If so, next year will be a year of success for all, if we haven't deterred vendors from coming already.

I would like to see the festivals back like it used to be if you want to add other festivities that would be great but why take a good thing and cut it up onto 3 or 4 not so great things ?

It's not that separating them was a bad idea, but this weekend felt empty, mostly because I spend all my time downtown, and not at the airport. So it just...wasn't the same.

Art & Balloon Fest should Stay as one weekend event. But I think it should be September! Just coming off the fair, the start of school and college. ..most parents in this community can't afford to do all this in One month.

I was very disappointed this year. The balloon fest by itself left nothing for attendees to do between launches and glows. There was very little happening at the airport between those events. Nornally, I would have spent the afternoon downtown at the art fair, flea market, and lunching at one of the restaurants on or near the square. Also, I wasn't lured in to purchase anything from businesses on the square because I wasn't there. Instead, I spent an exuberant amount of money at the airport...that $ went to a nice couple from Macon...not a Logan County business. Aside from my wristband purchase, I didn't spend any money at local businesses this year.

The Art Fair was not as big as previous years! Flea Market wasn't as good either. Wine tasting needs to be done at the same time as Art Fair, Balloon Fest and Flea market. Just not the samewith them scattered about!! Thank you!
