Parents want the best medical treatment for a sick child. They committed no crime in England and the Police acted out of all proportion in this incident.

As a parent of a five-year old I wonder what I would be feeling if I was forcibly separated from my daughter when she was so ill. That alone is enough to make me sign this petition.

My God, haven't this family suffered enough without being criminalised. Not only should they be reunited but the government should pay a) compensation to them b) fund treatment in Switzerland or wherever to enable him to undergo proton beam therapy.

Let them be together as a family - his parents clearly want the best for their son

The behaviour of both the British and Spanish authorities in this matter is an utter disgrace. Aysha should be reunited with his family immediately.

It is shameful to make a child suffer alone in a foreign country in this way - he must be terrified and his mother must be frantic with worry.

It's inhuman what the authorities are doing to this family. The little boy must be sop scared it's unbelievable to comprehend what he is going through without his family supporting him.

I do not believe this child was neglected at all and many would do the same in this situation. It is awful that this boy is being kept away from his parents!

a dose of common sense and empathy needs to be injected to this decision.

Yes it was wrong to remove Aysha, but the rest is a little over the top, with a little boy so obviously loved.
