The behaviour of the hospital staff and the police is criminal and not in the best interest of the child. This must NEVER happen again.

I'd love to know when deciding to ignore medical 'advice' became a criminal offence!

It must be very difficult for medical staff to watch parents with no training try to do the best for their son if they disagree with their decision but if their aim was to provide the best care for Aysha, by separating him from their parents they have immediately failed. What little boy needs to be away from his mum, dad and siblings and what family already under pressure with a son with serious medical needs should put up with such treatment. Say we made a mistake and get them re-united.

It is absolutely disgraceful that the authorities think these parents would want to harm their child.

Please let common sense prevail here. Release the parents, and reunite them with this frightened boy alone in hospital. The UK government has not only denied him the medical care he requires, they are now hindering his recovery with this emotional trauma

From the very first report of this on the BBC News it sounded wrong. Time for those responsible to back off and apologise profusely.
