Return Smart Lunch to it's original state before 10/25

If some students misbehaved doesn't mean we all have to face a consiquence.

I honestly can't believe the school had an entire summer to resolve this and failed that bad. I understand punishing misbehaved students (and I've never seen any fights) but for those of us who actually care I find it upseeting that they condemn those who try really hard. What if you have a family emergency and need to catch up on work? Or if you have a job? Prople have their own responsibilities. And it's wakefields responsibility and our principle to FIX THIS!!!!

i hate this place

As an alum, SMART lunch was always full of opportunities for students to get back on track with their work and get together with their clubs. This is a disgrace, and I am sincerely sorry for all the students who have to put up with Bazzell's foolishness by placing his small school mentality (from which he came prior to WHS) on a school of 2300 students. Plus, SMART lunch was established not only for the students to get help, but for the students to be safe when going off campus for lunch. There were multiple accidents that occurred when students were rushing to and fro to not be late for class, so the 1 hour lunch was instituted. Way to go current students, stand up for what's right!!!

Not right to go after the entire school, it should be the administration job to keep it SAFE and a CONTROL environment> should I be worry about my child not been safe at Wakefield?

Since school started, i've been using smart lunch to catch up on work that I miss and tests. Now what time will I have to do that?? Also, we had to cancel a club meeting today? In what way is that fair?? I can't do after school club meetings since my bus is the first to go and I have no ride. This is so not fair, to everyone.

At the meeting tomorrow I think all parents should call for Bazzells resignation. He choked in response to the situation and I need my child to use smart lunch to help grades. If Bazzells is only helping the bad seeds he's not the principal for our children.

I feel that as an independent student of Wakefield, we should be able to have certain rights. I do however, understand where he's coming from but because of reckless students who choose to fight and/or harass teachers physically or verbally, you shouldn't take away everyone's rights, only theirs. I understand completely but yet i beg to disagree. Thank you.

Playing Travel hockey makes me miss so much work that I NEED smart lunch to allow me to catch up.

Maybe enough thought wasn't given to bringing the freshmen to main campus. If there is crowding, move the freshmen back to the 9th grade center. If kids want to fight, they'll still fight. Punish the offenders.

My child's grades have improved tremendously with using smart lunch. You will be taking away from a better education for her.

I need smart lunch to study before midterms!! What about clubs that meet during smart lunch?? Kids who ride the bus might not be able to participate in makeup clubs after school

Will there be extra security to protect the kids? What will happen to their GPAs? Maybe this principal isn't the right fit

For the next 3 weeks anger will prevail and no one will learn a thing.

Bring it back!

WHAT THE HELL WE NEED THIS

Expel the offenders, one fight and you're out! Clean up the garbage and let the rest of the students shine! I'm not paying a fortune to live here for this nonsense. Parents, teach your children how to behave!

Punish the offenders and keep the kids educated!
