We need smart lunch because it's useful to keep our grades up. You shouldn't punish all of Wakefield just because of a small problem

We need smart lunch. Without it we won't be able to have meetings for clubs during lunch or catch up on missing work that we need in order to do well during the school year. Also every other wednesday i eat lunch and hang out with the special needs kids and without smart lunch that opportunity will be taken away. They really enjoy when we come and hang out with them and during smart lunch is our only time to do so.

I have problems with tardies during 1st so I get lunch detention since y'all are cutting it back I'm going to have to make up 30 mins in two days because of how long the lunch line is

Changing the schedule will only confuse students than keeping things in order

I feel that lunch is a good time to meet with teachers when i'm struggling or need help with something. smart lunch has helped my grades for this first quarter.

My daughter uses this time to socialize with her friends of choice and to seek help from teachers when needed. I understand that the principal has to deal with many issues that arise each and every day, however, I do agree that this action is punishing the entire student body instead of addressing those guilty of causing the fights...

Give us lunch

Please consider this petition. I believe students are the best preventers of fights. These students are taking a stand because their lunch time is valuable to them. Giving them the opportunity to keep this time will encourage them to diffuse fights. Students, it's your responsibility to do better. This is a great start.

This hour long lunch is very important to us in high school because it allows us the time to communicate with out friends bc it's the only time we can without getting in trouble

I wholeheartedly agree. I was out of school for nearly a month with a kidney stone, and without smart lunch I'm going to finish the quarter with a failing grade. I need the time to work with the teachers and take make-up exams.

You are empowering the kids that don't use SL & won't even care that SL is gone to punish the kids that want and need the help during SL

Bring it back! I need this for clubs, hours, and make up work! I cannot afford this to be taken.
