Return Mrs. Graf to the Classroom where she belongs!!!!

Stand your ground Janice....you did a Mitzvah by taking the student out of a stressful environment for a soothing cup of hot cocoa....that shows your compassion and commitment to your students. Please let the school board hear the pleas of your community and the public by allowing any infringement of rules to be overlooked and perhaps changed altogether after this in special circumstances for the greater good of the student. I commend you and wish that this plays out well for you, the student body and your community.

Mrs. Graf is one of the best teachers at Center Moriches High School. To punish a teacher for helping a student is discouraging to other teachers therefore making it unfair for students because teachers cannot offer them the help even if they desperately need it. I say return Mrs. Graf to her classroom and students for the last few months before she retires. I love Mrs. Graf, many of us do, so stop playing games! This is education, it shouldn't be a business!

Ms. Graf is one of the best people I know, she has helped me so much through everything, and CM School Districts are denying other students in need of that.

She deserves better treatment after 30 years with the school

Hard to hear that such an influential person to that district is wasting her time on desk duty. Ungrateful little power hungry men... Gross.

We should have more teachers like this that actually care about there students

As a Board you all should be ashamed of yourselves. Would you rather that child harm herself. I'm proud to see this teacher make a difference in this child's life.

Janice Graf is an ASSET to the Center Moriches Community. She demonstrates compassion which the world is lacking.

Mrs. Graf is more than an Art Teacher; she is a model of compassion. I hope my son is lucky enough to have at least one teacher like her in his scholastic career.

If more teachers were this caring perhaps children who need the help and attention they are lacking at home will be able to look at a brighter future ahead of them, make better choices and one day be there for others who need them as well. Today we are plagued with lost, murdered, ignored children and Mrs Graf's actions may have just one of the many who go unnoticed and who may have otherwise been lost that very day. Stop administration bullying. Teachers and school administrators are our world influences what world do you want to live in?

Why do we punish the teachers that try and our children but nothing happens to the teachers that dont do a thing! This is just absurd. Let this fabulous teacher back into her classroom and let her do what she does best!

Mrs. Graf is an AMAZING teacher and mentor, it is a true disservice to her students to be without her!

Since Russell Stewart arrived in Center Moriches School District. He immediately started becoming a Bully towards teachers. The moral for teachers was lowered because of his threats. When Teachers were getting ready to vote on a new Health Care contract, I warned teachers to vote no, Mainly because a School Board Trustee was going to be making a large commission if it passed, Thankfully it failed. Before the Vote, Russell Stewart and another Administrator were passing out flyers to voting Teachers to vote yes for the new Health Care Contract or they will be fired by the end of the year. The Contact failed and several Tenured and Non Tenured teachers were layed off. Then another incident, Russell Stewart suspended Craig Charvat for being outspoken in the Media for his views on Common Core Curriculum and the APPR. Russell Stewart also Hired one of his Best Friends to be our Districts New Athletic Director after firing a very accomplished director in our Athletic Department. Upon Hiring of Thode, Russell Stewart took away several department chair positions and gave them to Thode. One Department chair was the Art Department chair Held by Mrs Graf. After 6 days on the job from being hired, Russell Stewart gave Thode tenure. Also keep in mind, Several new Administration hires are his friends from Commack School District. He Gave his friend and Commack Football Coach's daughter, the Open position of Middle School Principal even with only 2 years teaching experience. Passing over several more Qualified and experienced Educators who had PHd's in Education stating they were qualified. But someone with 2 years Experience was ? Russell Stewart even Bullied harassed and Threatened parents whop were outspoken on how the district was being run, How his newly hired Administrator had no show jobs and even brought their children to school with them Placing the district at a Liability. Mrs Graf is an OUTSTANDING Educator. Mrs Graf goes above and beyond to ass

Removing a teacher because she cares and the parents knew about it, make me wonder about who is running the school. Teachers with compassion are hard to come by.

Mrs. Graf was one of the hand full of teachers that really cared. Although she is an art teacher it didn't matter what you came to her with, school or personal, she would always be there to listen.

The Center Moriches School Board, including Superintendant Russell Stewart, should be fully investigated by NYS for their unethical practices!

Enough of the nonsense.
